Doing the right thing.

Today, on my way home, a young lady approched me, asking me for £2. She told me her phone died and didn't have any money to take the bus back.

She looked really sad.

However,

I hesitently asked her to repeat what she said and told her I didn't have any coins. She apolgized and we both parted.

I was completing whether or not she was telling the truth or not.

Because often in London you always get these fakes or pickpockets to make you sympathic towards them and they use the same tatics over and over again.

As I was walking, I realized I did the wrong thing.

She was purely lost and really needed to get home, she was completely alone. She sounded like she was going to cry.

If I was in her shoes - I would have done the same.

But I, being the usual stranger, walked off.

I wish I ran back and gave her my £5 note or at least let her call someone with my phone.

I feel so guilty.

Just a word to everyone, if someone needs help, I urge you to help them. If you're unsure, look them in eyes and the rest will be your choice.

Please God, I did the wrong thing, I was being selfish & ignorant. Please, let the young lady get home safely and asap. Please God, I am begging. Guide her home safely....

Karma will hit me soon enough, this is a valued lesson learnt.
