What am I up to...

Eeesssh. It's been a while.

Sorry everyone but I've been ultra busy with my life atm and lazy to keep track and stuff etc etc.

So what have I been up to lately?

Well, 2 weeks ago, I was in Amsterdam - for 5 days. First two days was a holiday with my friends whilst the rest were study trips into galleries.

My view on Amsterdam:

At first, the weather was rainy and quite cold - like cold in the morning and night. Quite similar to London, although less humid and no windy rain! Eventually, the weather cleared up and got warmer & sunnier. I have to say - the weather there is better.

Secondly, I really miss the canals there. They're so beautiful to watch, and some people live on the canals! You see so many boat houses along the way. I wish, one day, I can build a summer house there (if i'm allowed to by law, although I doubt it but idk).

I can not say the same for the roads. It is so different from what i'm use to. 2 words = Bikes. Everywhere. Literally everywhere. They have a bike lane for them, but it can be troublesome because sometimes a huge truck or car will park on the pavement.... so it puts a risk to us pedestrians and cyclists. Also there are trams there... they're so evil. smh.

Thirdly, food. I love food for all you know. My friends and I discovered that Amsterdam was well known for pancakes, hutspot, fries, coffees and some Indonesian cusines (loads of satay pastries, sauces etc); so we went on the hunt to find the best food!

Pancakes... I have to say, I was a wee bit disappointed. I guess because pancakes are pancakes, crepes etc. There wasn't anything special about them. I mean, they had a wide variety of sweet and savory pancakes but... tbh, you can easy make them at home.

This was the pancake I ordered at The Pancake Bakery. There was way too much ice cream & whipped cream that it became too sweet for my taste > <.

There was one restaurant I went to called The Pantry. Because it was small and a well known tourist spot - we only had an 1 hr & 45 mins to eat there. I went to order the tradtional Hutspots with my friends (both meatball & wurst).
I have to say, it was so delicious - the food reminded me of something you would eat together with a your family (because it was homemade and heart warming?). The mash was mixed with beef stew steak, carrots & onions, which was so, so nice. I need to learn how to cook this LOL. I actually ordered a combination Hutspot so other sorts of mash was thrown in (3 in total). One was mixed with Kale (this I loved too) and the other was mixed with sauerkraut (fermented cabbage? I didn't like this, I'm not a fan of sour food). But yeah, 5 stars to The Pantry!

Another note, the fries, coffees, bread & cheese there are so good. There are so good (Fries have more flavour - really good with mayo. Coffees there are much smoother than the ones in London. they have a large varity of bread which are much fluffier and softer. The cheese is the winner. I wish I could have taken all their cheese with me :< ).

Anyways enough blabs, the most rememberable events in Amsterdam was going to Keukenkof. The place was filled with so many large flowers. They mainly had my favourite Tulips. They were so colourful and huge!

Me & the Tulips behind me. I love parks so much. I was in my happy place lol.

So yeah... really miss the place.

Now highlight for the school trip! I have to say it was visiting Ted Noten's Studio and meeting the man himself!

This is a regram from my classmate. He is legitimately funny and cool! He gave us loads of handy advice to us :)
We had a look around his studio and saw some sneak peak of his new collection. Can't upload any photo of course ;)
I do regret not buying the Miss piggy ring in Amsterdam, getting a picture with him & his signature :( *sign*.

I blogged a bit too much about Amsterdam. Haha. It feels a bit good to blog about some things. Even if they don't make sense.

ANYWAYS. A few things before I end this blog:

I offically have a ebay! I'm selling my old clothes. Currently only selling them within the UK but maybe soon I can sell internationally.

ALSO, to anyone that wears glasses or own a pair, could you please take a moment to fill in my questionaire?

Need some feedback for an upcoming project and this will help a lot!

AND ANOTHER, I miss being Blonde. I've been thinking about going back to blonde for a while now.
Currently, my hair is a short bob:

I really loved my outfit so i tried to take a selfie... but ehh... my face came out weird. Realized I gain weight again so I need to lose it again smh.
The bob I cut myself after realizing how the hairdresser terribly cut my hair (messed up my fringe, again! had to change sides, layers are to short so my hair appears thinner, therefore my face even rounder.). The cut is quite messy, I'm going to need to trim it a bit to tidy it up.

I've had dark for about.... 3 months now? It's not long..... the condition of my hair is still not good (like the ends will still go brittle.) But idk, I just miss beng blonde! I feel blonde is more me.

For those that hasn't seen, here are some photos of me with blonde hair (and med length hair):

Spam Spam Spam.

So yeah... I asked Seme and she suggested that I wait until my hair has grown out so I can have the long blonde hair that I desire. But then again.. to have a blonde bob is just something.... that idk.

Not entirely sure I should wait it out and stick with dark hair or just go blonde. I might ask my friends later and see what they think. What do you think? Wait it out or Just do it?

Time to end this post, I typed more than I intended =_=
