Not much going on in my life, so I'm creating another hair inspirations post ^^;
Incase anyone was curious, my hair currently looks like this:

This is what my hair looks like naturally now after blow drying, to add volume & texture I have to use my straightners & hair wax. |
I've had... mixed feelings about my shaved side that I wished it grew faster. It was until I saw this hairstyle I changed my mind:
I am literally in love with this hair style! I'm going to make sure my hair grows an inch or more before I visit my hair dresser again so my roots will be black. Then, once she's done cutting my hair, I can dye the rest of the bleached hair silver!
Sounds like a perfect plan to me :D
Also I want to rave about this product I recently stumbled across:
L'oreal has recently released a new range that has no sulphate, and I'm so happy about this.
I could explain why it's different from other shampoos and why "sulphate-free" ones are the best of the best, but ehh, let's show this video instead:
FYI, sulphate free shampoos are very hard! Most of them were only avaliable online and really, really pricey.
Shu-an pretty much explains why you should switch to sulphate free shampoos.
Here are my reasons why:
- My hair felt instantly soft but clean as well.
- I didn't need to use my hair mask in every wash now, the condtioner itself is good for frizzy hair and my hair feels stronger.
- the smell is really nice too.
- Most importantly, this is most ideal get rid off smelly scalp.
Smelly scalp you say? Well lemme confess to you.
Before I used sulphate-free shampoo, my scalps would smell horrible! Like ... a terrible, awful, damp cloth. I could smell it when I rubbed my fingers on my scalps and god it reeked! Also, I could feel my scalp was "moist" T__T
I began to become concious that everyone could smell it so I tried finding shampoos which could get rid of it.
Turns out the reason why my scalp was like that because of bulid up... from yeast. Really nasty. So, no matter how many times I massaged my hair with shampoo, the smell will still be there even after I washed it. I began to use dry shampoo to cover it up but the fix would only be temporary.
I have used Neutrogena T-Sal shampoo, as much as it works, the smell was really horrible like out of date perfume >__<
Also it didn't do any good for my hair making it feel "squeaky clean".
Now I can safely say, using L'oreal Sulphate free shampoo has actually gotten rid of the smell and my scalp is not moist but still soft! So happy I don't have to worry about the smell ^__^
Another product I would reccomend is Bumble and Bumble. Most of their ranges are sulfate free and currently using their Invisible Oil Primer, which works so well with my hair!
My friends told me to avoid highstreet hair products because the hairdresser told her all the chemicals in those are bad for you hair. So I think next time, I'll buy more of the Bumble & Bumble range (luckily found a column in Boots Lakeside).
